The diamond has become an exclusive and more or less and part of our jewelry here in Denmark. Every diamond is unique, but international standards for a diamonds quality has still been set in place. These international standards are based on the 4 C's.

Let's start with the Carat. Carat is the unit of weight used for diamonds and other gemstones. The weight unit reminds of grams. Carat is different from "karat" which is used to indicate the purity of gold. 1.00 carat clean diamond is exactly 0.2 grams.
